The 3m screen comfortably fits 20 to 40 kids depending on how they sit. Bean bags work perfectly. For bigger groups, our 5m screen from $600 handles up to 230 people.
Yes. Disney+, Netflix, Stan, Binge, or any streaming service works. You supply the streaming device (phone, tablet or laptop). Blu-ray and DVD also work. Gaming consoles connect too. For private birthday parties at home, no public performance licence is required.
For the best picture, start around 30 minutes after sunset. In Perth winter that’s around 6:30 to 7pm, perfect for younger kids. In summer it’s later around 8:30 to 9pm, which works great for older kids and sleepover parties. Check the Perth sunset calendar when planning.
A standard Perth suburban backyard handles the 3m screen setup comfortably. The screen needs about 4m x 4m of clear space, plus room for your audience. If space is tight, the framed screen has a smaller footprint and also works indoors.

The sound system is professional grade but you control the volume. Most backyard cinema nights run at a level that keeps everyone happy without disturbing neighbours. We recommend letting neighbours know in advance. The screen itself is completely silent once set up.
As early as possible. Peak season Saturdays (December through March) book up fast. 4 to 8 weeks ahead is ideal. A 50% deposit secures your date. Balance is due 7 days before the party.
