A Cottesloe story we will never forget.
We ran a booking in Cottesloe that included a smoke machine. At the end of the night, the client picked up the equipment and returned it. No problem. Except the remote for the smoke machine was not in the bag.
Since the client had arranged their own pickup and collection, the return trip to Cottesloe to retrieve a smoke machine remote was not something we could justify. We accepted the loss and moved on. The remote, presumably, still lives in Cottesloe.
The smoke machine itself worked beautifully on the night though. The atmosphere in that backyard was something else entirely. Thick, cinematic, completely by accident. Sometimes Cottesloe does that to you.
