It needs darkness, and Perth stays light late on New Year's Eve, so the picture looks best from about 8:30pm. Plenty of time for a film or two before the countdown.
New Year's Eve is our single busiest night, so it books out well in advance. The earlier you lock in your date, the better, especially for the larger screens.
