Cinema for your team.
Zero planning for you.

A fully managed outdoor cinema experience your team will actually remember. We deliver, set up, run the event and pack down. You take the credit.

✓ Certificate of insurance available ✓ JSA & waste management plan ready ✓ 20 to 1,200 people
Why it works

The event your team actually remembers.

Research consistently shows outdoor cinema outperforms traditional corporate events for genuine connection. The reason is simple a shared experience in a relaxed setting dissolves workplace hierarchy and creates the kind of conversation that never happens in a boardroom.

🎬
The wow factor lands every time

A cinema-quality screen appearing on your oval, carpark or lawn generates genuine excitement. People photograph it, share it and talk about it for months. That kind of organic engagement is impossible to manufacture.

🤝
Hierarchy disappears outdoors

Something shifts when people leave the office environment. The managing director on a bean bag next to a graduate creates the kind of human connection that structured team building activities actively try and mostly fail to produce.

💰
Extraordinary value per head

A restaurant dinner for 50 staff costs $4,000 and people forget it by Monday. An outdoor cinema night for 50 staff starts from $280 around $5.60 per person and gets talked about at the next performance review.

📋
Zero work for the organiser

We handle every logistical detail. You send us the date, venue and headcount. We do the rest including setup, operation and complete packdown. Nothing to organise, nothing to worry about, nothing that can go wrong on your watch.

🌤️
Indoor option removes weather risk

Our framed screen sets up indoors in a warehouse, function room, hall or covered outdoor area. If your event planner is nervous about the Perth forecast, we have a solution that requires no backup plan.

📄
All the paperwork, ready to go

Certificate of insurance, job safety analysis and waste management plan are all available before you ask. No back-and-forth with your facilities team. No hold-ups on council or site approval.

Event types

Eight reasons to book a cinema night.

From end of year parties to safety milestone celebrations, outdoor cinema adapts to almost any corporate occasion.

🥂
EOFY & Christmas Parties

The two biggest events in the corporate calendar. Do something genuinely different this year. A cinema night scales from 20 to 1,200 people and works in almost any outdoor or indoor space.

Book by April for EOFY. Book by August for Christmas.
🏆
Safety Milestone Celebrations

One thousand days without a lost time injury deserves a proper event. A cinema night for the whole workforce is visible, memorable and sends the right message about how the company values its people.

Popular with mining, construction and resources teams.
🎯
Team Building Day Finale

End a full day of structured activity with something everyone actually looks forward to. Cinema as the reward after team building is consistently the highest-rated part of the day.

Works indoors or outdoors depending on season.
🏢
Staff Appreciation Events

A dedicated event that says thank you without a speech and a voucher. Add bean bags, a party pack and catering and you have an evening that actually feels like a reward.

HR budget friendly from $5.60 per person.
📊
Product Launches & Brand Activations

Your company logo, product video or highlight reel plays on an 8m screen before the main feature. Client-facing events and product launches have been using cinema screens for branded impact for years.

Custom pre-show content supported on all screens.
🌙
Conference Social Evenings

Day one of the conference ends at 5pm. Instead of drinks in a hotel bar, you roll out a cinema screen in the venue carpark or courtyard. Delegates talk about it for the entire second day.

Works at most Perth conference venues.
🤝
Client Entertainment

A cinema night at your office, warehouse or a hired venue is an unusual and genuinely impressive way to entertain key clients and partners. Nobody has done it before and nobody forgets it.

3m screen suits intimate client groups of 20 to 50.
🏠
Real Estate & Property Events

We have set up our 8m screen for real estate agencies running client evenings and property showcase events across Perth. The screen doubles as a display for listings, renders and property video and then rolls a movie for the crowd. Genuinely unforgettable.

8m screen recommended for large client evenings.

Good to know

Staff entertainment is generally tax deductible.

Staff events and team entertainment are generally deductible business expenses under Australian tax law. A cinema night for your team falls squarely in this category. We always recommend confirming the specifics with your accountant, but for most Perth businesses this is a legitimate, claimable expense.

Perth Pop-Up Movies provides a payment receipt for all bookings. Consult your accountant for specific tax advice.

Perth venues

Perth venues that work perfectly for cinema.

Not sure where to host your event? Here are Perth venues and spaces that work well for outdoor cinema across all screen sizes.

Your company oval or carpark

The most popular option for corporate events. Your own site means no venue hire cost, no permit required and familiar surroundings for your team.

City of Kwinana reserves

Thomas Oval and Calista Oval are both bookable through the City of Kwinana. Large capacity, ample parking, great for whole-company events.

Warehouse or industrial shed

Our framed screen works indoors. A warehouse, covered hardstand or large function shed is a dramatic venue for a cinema night and completely weather-proof year-round.

Sporting club grounds

Most Perth sporting clubs have hireable ovals and clubrooms. Bar stays open, oval hosts the screen. A natural combination that works well for post-season and milestone events.

Community parks and reserves

Most Perth councils allow event bookings on their reserves. Requires a permit application — we can advise and we carry the JSA and waste management plan required for approval.

Not sure? Ask us.

Tell us your suburb and expected headcount and we will recommend the right venue. We have set up across Perth and know what works for different group sizes.
