Fantastic communication, fast and easy set up all done for us and simple instructions for us to follow, the bean bags were a great added touch to the whole outdoor movie experience. Would highly recommend and definitely use again!"
Ballajura was first settled in 1905, when Ernest Maltby Kerruish, an immigrant from the Isle of Man, bought farmland then part of Caversham. He named it after Ballajora, a farm at Maughold on the Isle of Man, and the spelling later shifted to Ballajura.
Fellow Isle of Man emigrants helped clear the land and begin farming, but the soil proved poor and the area stayed largely rural for decades.
The suburb as it is known today emerged through major residential development in the 1980s, including the Lakeshore and The Lakes estates, subdivisions built around constructed lakes and parkland.
Modern Ballajura is an established family suburb of around 18,500 people, served by four primary schools, a community college, multiple community centres, ovals and a library.
For us it is a long northern run, priced simply at a flat $4/km, quoted upfront, with no weekend or public holiday loadings.
